The lands are diverse with speices. Dragons, humans, ceteceans are spread out across the land. There are towns but never cities. There just aren't enough people for that. Humans communities rise up as technological bastions amid the raw power of nature. Particularily in Winterhome where the snows are constant and the temperature rarely gets above freezing their citadels keep them alive.
The dragons reside alone or in small enclaves in the mountains of Winterhome or the trees of Autumnhold or Summertide. Their own power allows them to live simple isolated lifestyles rather then being forced to group together in communities. Yet the dragons are the bastions of the mountains. Through them the cold night is held back.
The ceteceans travel in pods amongst the waves. Rumor has it that there is an underground sea that allows them to get to many places far inland and seemingly out of their reach. The ceteceans are always on the move, always exploring. Pods come and go so often that not even they have a good idea of how many of their kind exists.
What lies south of the ocean or north of the mountains? Noone really knows. For people who live so dispersed the possibilities of even more harsh open territory holds little interest. Whether something lives out there is not known.
